The service here is quite good compared to other Jiffy Lubes. Nice knowledgeable staff. A pro of the new "Jiffy Lube Way" are that for 3 months/3000 miles, they'll top you off at any Jiffy Lube across the country. Hadn't heard about that until I came here.
The location is conveniently located at Four Corners, walking distance to several stores. I walked over and dropped off a package at the UPS store across the street last time, and they were done by the time I got back. Nice and speedy!
I'm not sure I'd have wanted to wait in the fairly uncomfortable chairs, but at least they had papers, and I think there was even a TV running.
They are paid to do hard upsells for new PVC valves and air filters and are hard to shake off to get just an oil change. Stick to your guns here. Also, the price for a regular oil change is not at all worth it without a coupon.
I went by once and they were out of my oil filter, which is good since I had lost my coupon. I asked them if they would honor it anyway and was told no (fair enough...) Thank goodness I found it. I WAS told that Jiffy Lube policy is to offer the customer a $10 discount if they can bring the car in immediately when you call and ask for times/prices over the phone. If after asking for the price they don't, try asking "Can you offer me a discount if I come in right now?" Skip them if they don't.
Cell phones are great, knowing this, you can call spur of the moment AND save $10!
