Review content:
I visited the new Whole Foods in Redmond yesterday. This market is located about 2 blocks East of the end of 520 in Redmond (hand a right at the end of 520). It's grand opening was on Aug 30th and the parking lot said it was still a popular place when I visited 2 days later. The market itself is beautifully done. Very natural, open and a huge produce section. The parking lot is not very big (neither is the one in Bellevue, maybe a trait of Whole Foods?). I enjoyed lunch at their eatery (which is open until 9pm) and gave myself a quick tour. I think I found my favorite thing: Gelato! I made sure to sample a few flavors (get cinnamon!). I will definitely visit this Whole Foods to pick up dinner one night a week. They had a huge 'ready-to-go' section or I will have them make me something fresh in their eatery.
This market won't replace my need to visit Trader Joes (which is much cheaper), but it is a fun place to add to the Redmond skyline.
