We recently stayed here for 3 nights on vacation, and while I liked the place, I was a little disappointed. They advertise in front of the hotel that you can rock in a rocking chair on your own private porch. Well, very few rooms have that option and we didn't get one of them. We had a plain room with nothing special. It was mostly clean except for a stain on the rug near the bathroom and a spider on the wall. No refrigerator or anything. For the price they charged, I expected a little more. Their pool, which is a type of greenhouse type building is nice, but it was ruined on the second day by a bunch of kids cannonballing and diving into the pool. There is absolutely no supervision and no lifeguards around. This stinks because the pool is why I chose this hotel. The water is heated, but is still fairly cold. The hot tub was nice though. I didn't appreciate being charged 50 cents to call my husband in my room on night from the pool area to ask if he wanted to come down. If I knew they were going to charge the room for that, I wouldn't have called. They have a very nice contental breakfast every morning, which was pretty good. They advertise 24 hour coffee and juice in the lobby, but several times the coffee canister was empty and the apple juice was also empty. Sad because it was chilly in the evenings and I was looking forward to a hot cup of coffee before we went to our room. After they saw me fiddling around with it and huffing, someone finally filled the coffee up again. It's not a bad place, but next time I'll probably look for someplace with a playground or more things for the kids to do besides a pool that has crazy kids and no supervision.
