Review content:
Though this business was very good at returning my phone call (I had to leave a message when I originally called), the service I got was probably the worst service I had ever received anywhere! I had a tape that got stuck in my camcorder with a project that my high school student was working on. The person that I talked to from Kerr said that I should just throw it away and buy a new camcorder! I couldn't believe this guy! The conversation went from bad to worse, but I can't get myself to even mention what else that person said.
Even if it means making a bit of a drive, I would recommend Alpha Electronics in Mesa, AZ instead. I gave them a call and they said to bring in the camera so they could take a look. It turned out to be a bad tape - not a bad camera! The guy at Alpha just jiggled the tape around and was able to take it out just like that. I guess because it took such little time, he didn't even charge me for his time. Now, that's what I call good customer service! :-) :-) I will defnintely take anything else that needs fixing to this place. Their prices seem reasonable, and it reduces the amount of electronic trash that is filling up the landfill thanks to our "just throw it away" type of thinking. Look them up if you need any electronic to be looked at.
