Review content:
I haunt this place on a regular basis because the assortment of housewares and women's apparel changes as fast as Paris Hilton changes cell phone numbers.
The best season for apparel is fall-slash-winter-spring, for reasons having to do with how long our gray season is. The sheer volume of merchandise can be staggering...and a boon to your wardrobe.
Summer is tougher. People tend to hold onto summer clothes (due to the limited opportunities to wear them) so what comes into CC can be dated (read: old). But if you are looking for khaki shorts or tank tops, you'll find them.
Prices used to be fabulous, but now they are just reasonable. Skirts (Talbots, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor) hover in the $16.00-$20.00 range. T-shirts (Banana republic, J. Crew, The Gap)are offered between $14.00 and $19.00. Blue jeans (Gap, Halogen, CK) are about $20.00.
Apparel is organized by type (pants, tops, sweaters,) and then by color. An new manager has an eye for merchandising which makes shopping a pleasure.
The housewares selection ranges from media cabinets to demitasse cups.
