Review content:
This stuff is O.K. for Chinese Take-out, although it is a bit Americanized (and blase at times). But they do deliver, so that's a plus.
It's kinda of a crap shoot -- the menu, that is. We found the menu flyer in our Sunday paper, so we thought we'd give it a go. One night, we unwittingly overdid it with the fried stuff, because the menu descriptions were so vague. Who knew? The management decided dumbass comments on each item were better than revealing what was in them. But you can always call the store and ask the counter clerks to read you the descriptions over the phone.
Good luck on that last idea if they're riding on the hood of each other's cars in between phone orders. Really, I'm not kidding. I pulled into the parking lot one night to see that craziness. You've got to wonder where the management was during all this nonsense. A teen drove out onto Sabino Canyon Road with two of his friends riding on the outside of his car. I couldn't exactly see who was driving, but I knew at least one of these kids came from Eggrolls because she had run out of the store from behind the counter.
Maybe these kids really, really, really need this job to keep them out of bigger trouble. Of course, it was during the summer. Who knows what happens to a teen's mind during hot summer nights?
My thoughts? Order from Eggrolls when you're tired and hungry. Encourage all your friends to call in and order frequently, too. You'll help keep reckless high schoolers out of traffic and employed at minimum-wage jobs where they obviously belong.
Think of it as your good deed for the day.
