Businiess name:  Spectators

Review content:
Spectators is like most of your other sports bars. TV's, large and small, are hung along the dark walls. The sounds of baseball and Nascar overpower the sounds of chatter around the bar. Booths are lined along the walls and strategically placed throughout their dimly lit back room. Their menu consists of your typical bar food - wings, fries, potato skins, pizza and more. Their service is medioker at best. We decided on Spectators last night because they were one of the few places in town hosting the UFC fight. We sat down at about 8pm starving and ready to order. Our waiter was such a sweet older man, a little slow, but so kind. He definitely did his best to take care of us. The food was decent. We had wings and fries and they seemed to hit the spot. 10pm and the fight started. We've been to a few other bars in town that get PACKED on UFC nights but Spectators wasn't that bad. 11:15pm and two fights left to go and all the sudden this pounding hip-hop base is being played over the bar speakers. Looking around we realized that Saturday night are also hip-hop night and the bar was quickly filling up with some shady characters. We pulled our waiter aside, asked him what time hip hop was supposed to start, he said not till 12 and that he would talk to the DJ about turning it down. 11:30 The DJ turned down the music but than got on the mike and announced that he hated fight nights, the fights were lame and he couldn't wait till they were over. How rude! That's why we came out and we couldn't even enjoy our evening because the DJ was loudly proclaiming how much it sucked! The shady characters continued to flow in and surround the bar. 11:45 The main UFC event and the last fight of the night was beginning. The DJ got back on the mike rapping and shouting about how he couldn't wait for this s**t to get over... UNBELEIVABLE!! We couldn't even enjoy the last fight because of the DJ's rudeness and disrespect of the other customers there. 11:50pm The fight was still going on and bass music was pounding so loud our booth was vibrating. 11:55pm The fight was over, we tried to squeeze out the front door and were stared down every step of the way. On most evenings and nights Spectators may have a decent atmosphere, average food and satisfactory service, however, I'd strongly recommend that late night/weekend family outings be avoided at this resturaunt/bar!
