Businiess name:  Sushi Garden

Review content:
Located on Floyd behind Marie Calendar's. Small restaurant with a big focus on Sushi. Though they also offer Tempura, Gyoza, Noodle Pots, a few other Japanese standards. First, the Miso soup and hot tea are part of every meal so that's a nice touch. The sushi is excellent and very fresh. The tempura is nice and crunchy, not soggy, but also not very flavorful. So though it was good it wouldn't have been as good without the dipping sauce. The Sobu noodles are really good and very very freshly cooked and didn't taste like they were made from dried. The Gyoza, (pot stickers) were a huge hit with my kidlets and my husband, I didn't try them. The salad dressing is quite tasty though the size of the salad is a little disappointing. Oh did I say the sushi is excellent and fresher than what we had gotten used to here in Modesto. Prices are reasonable and there is lots to share so we don't order individual meals we get a platter of assorted types of sushi, a couple of main dishes, and just eat family style. Worth a visit, or two. Perhaps I can convince the hubby that we need to eat there tonight. I have a hankering for some Philly Roll. Dinner for this family of four, $50 including 15% to 20% Tip. Cindi
