Roy's has been my neighborhood store ever since I moved here. I'll never forget my amazement when I first walked in this compact store which lacked nothing. It was like a tiny Wal*Mart with more. Roy's has groceries, meats, beer, wine and liquor, take out buffet and salad, gas and diesel fuel, movie rentals, hardware supplies, fishing supplies, live bait, licenses for DNR fishing and hunting, and a service and parts center. Last fall a new supermarket Oleson's, opened on the opposite corner. Roy's stepped up to the competition with more services, daily specials, increased take out menu, and coupons in the mailers. I especially love the large pizza, available on Mondays for only $5 and the movie rental special on Wednesdays for only 99 cents, including new releases! The other coupon specials are well worth checking out too. Their prices are a bit higher than the mega supermarkets but well worth it when you consider the time saved in stopping here to shop. Last week my grandson got some live bait to catch Bass in our lake. The fish found the worms very tasty! I've always loved the old fashioned neighborly atmosphere here. Roy's has always been a family owned business with Hentschels. I hope you'll check out this place to see why I love it.
