Businiess name:  Joe's Real BBQ and Dairy Bar
Review by:  Lisa P.
Review content:
Somehow we missed out on Joe's until just over a month ago. We actually did a web search for BBQ in Gilbert and read some pretty good things about the place. We enjoyed it so much! On the first visit I had the chicken breast and my husband had a sampler plate. The meat has a yummy smoked flavor. I probably enjoyed their 'sides' more than anything...mac & cheese, potato salad, and the beans are all terrific! (cookies are good too!) My husband and one son really like their homemade root beer too! The actual restaurant is in an old grocery store (I believe it was Safeway). There are picnic tables to eat at, and you can either eat inside or outside. As an added bonus, you get your food free on your birthday!
