My kids have attended one of our many local Head Start Centers in our area & they are absolutely Fantastic! It is similar to a preschool program. They even pick up the kids on a bus either at your house or at a central location.The program is based on your income & they serve the children breakfast & lunch, they provide tooth brushes & they brush after each meal. They activities with them to help them with there motor skills, manners, social, feelings/emotional, etc.They are also really good at helping your family out with getting clothes if needed for your children or help with food, or Christmas.
They also have other " branches" of service where they help people to get jobs, and help to weatherize your home. This government funded program is wonderful! When I was going through a rough patch, they were to help me with what ever I needed!
