If you are buying a house in or around Seattle (or selling and want to know issues beforehand), you need to take a look at Ideal Inspections. They have a wide service area (we are in Maple Valley.)
They have 20 years of real estate and construction experience. They are high tech and provide digital pictures and PDFs after the fact, as well as on site Polaroids if needed in a rush.
Our Inspector was Brent, and we were a bit late to our appointment, as was our Realtor. This didn't stop him though, he had started some exterior inspections and walked us through the results when we arrived.
Throughout the entire inspection, he was knowledgeable, cordial, and very professional. He even gave us home maintenance tips during the inspection.
I don't rave about someone or a business unless they deserve it. You need to call them if you're looking for an inspector.
