What's happened to it over the years?
I LOVED sitting in front of the tv watching my favorite music!
Remember when they would hype up the latest-greatest new video premiere and you would have to make sure you were home to watch it so that you wouldn't be the ONLY one out of the loop!
Remember the original VJ's?
Remember WAAAAAAY back when MTV just started and they didn't have enough videos to play? They ran a bunch of weird video footage to nameless music just to fill in the gaps. And there were LOTS OF GAPS!
Remember when fashion and dance overtook the "importance" of the music? It was better to look good than to have a good song. Ahhhh, the silliness of it all. But we loved it. LOVED the videos!
Ahhhhhh. What happened?
Today's MTV is such a disappointment. Where's the music? Where did it go?
Definite thumbs down from someone who grew up LOVING her MTV!
