Review content:
Faye runs this salon by herself, and I have been taking my son there for the last 12 years for his haircuts. His first one was at age 2! The thing I really liked, is that she only charges $1 per year of age for kids haircuts. This is a real deal when you have a boy especially who's hair you want to keep short, but it grows fast and you are in to the salon every 6-8 weeks. I think she charges the $1.00 per year up until age 12, but you might double check that. She has a very soothing manner with children (soft voice and very respectful), and is not brash and doesn't work "too fast", and really listens to the kids. My son feels very "safe" with her, especially as he has gotten older and has his own opinions of how he wants his hair cut. Her salon is nothing fancy, just two stations and a little old fashioned, but she has a wide variety of clientele and is always busy. Easy parking in the heart of Edmonds - she has her own parking lot) and she is open on Saturdays for half a day I think. She's a ski instructor too, we've picked her brain for info on that subject the last few winters!
