Review content:
I lived in Sterling Lakes Apartments for two years with my husband, and two daughters. We moved their because we could get a 2 bedroom with study apartment for a pretty good price and we wanted to save money to buy a house. At first everything was great, but then things started to go downhill. First of all, there were some people below us that had surround sound on their TV and everytime they had it on, our floors would vibrate! It was terrible. We even went down to their apartment and they did not have it loud or anything! Then we had neighbors on the other side that cooked with curry powder A LOT and our apartment would smell so horrible from the smell coming through the vents! I was sick a lot because I was pregnant at the time also! Anyway, on a not so personal note. They advertise a playground, but you would not want to let your kids play there!!!! While we lived there, which was only a year ago, older kids hung out at the playground and drank and smoked!!! Plus, the play equipment was falling apart! Not too mention the pool! The last summer we were there I think it was closed more than it was open! Then they changed the rules that you had to be 16 to be there without an adult because of "kids' causing trouble! This upset me because my 15 year old sister babysat my girls during the summer and could not even take them over to the pool!!! Terrible!!! She was not the one to cause the problems! I felt it was unfair! I did, however, like most of the office staff. They were usually very friendly and willing to help out. They will definetly win you over when you go to look at the apartments, but look closer before you make your decision!
