Review content:
I go to school at Vandy, which it right across the street. The first few times I went to Friday's I was disappointed. More often than not, the waiters were sloppy, annoyed, and did not do a very good job of tending to our requests. I had to ask for simple things like a straw or more mustard four times. One time I ordered a signature burger and the kitchen people sent it out with none of the sauces. Our poor waitress, a newly hired young lady, had to try to get the guys to fix it up based on what I described was on it last time I ordered it. Did they think we wouldn't notice? Needless to say, I do not go to Fridays for a regular dinner. However, going to the bar is another story. It seems that the waiters and waitresses/ bartenders there very much enjoy their time at work, they attempt to remember you when you come in a few times, and they are attentive to your requests. Matt, Shellie, Amanda, and Smalls are all particularly great people. There have been a few new people as well, but they seem just as pleasant. Aside from the people being better on that side, the food is too. Apparently, the waiters/waitresses at the bar like to keep guests happy. The food comes out hot and looking just like it does on the menu (the steak stroganoff is particulary scrumptious). I always have a good time at the bar. Every once in a while, you'll catch an extra jolly bartender belting out whatever song is playing. Good times :)
