Review content:
In the last place you would ever expect, is a fantastic massage/reflexology haven.
OK, first of all, this is NOT a spa, it is very low key, so you will be disappointed if you're looking for the spa atmosphere, bathrobe, yadda yadda.
New Land is located in the downstairs floor of a mall entrance in Chinatown. From the outside, it looks like a doctor's office with neon lights. Do not be alarmed, you will have a great experience.
I went with 4 family members for a girlie day over the weekend. We each had a 30 minute back massage. We were split into 3 and 2 and each group taken to a different room. I was in the main room - the staff quickly put up screen dividers to make the room more private. We were asked to remove our shirts (we each kept our bras on) and lie face down. This is great DEEP DEEP tissue - if you like a firm/stong massage, this is your place.
Afterwards, I decided to try the reflexology, and it was even better than the back massage, wow! I only had 10 minutes, but I am going back for more. I have very ticklish feet, but they put on so much lotion that it didn't ticket at all.
So, I had a total of 40 minutes, and it cost only $28!!! (That's if you pay cash, if you pay with a credit card, they add on sales tax.)
You simply must go here if you need a great, inexpensive massage.
