Businiess name:  Contemporary Decks
Review by:  Kirsten F.
Review content:
Justin O'Hara and his team rebuilt a second story deck for us two summers ago and I think they did a good job. Jason came and gave us an estimate and sketched out our ideas for the railing. Their prices seemed average for deck builders and significantly less than contractors or home remodel companies who were about 50% more. Justin and his small crew were very quick and friendly. The demolition was fast with little impact on our yard and the rebuilding went quickly as well. We chose to use iron wood (ipe) for the decking and cedar for the railings. They also enclosed the 4x4 's that are holding up the deck, making them look like columns and added shingles to match the house. Not quite the attention to detail you might get with a remodel company and any effort to match the style of the house came from us rather than them. For a basic deck I think they do a great job, for something more elaborate or designed I would look for a larger company or someone who emphasized style more.
