Indochine is Tacoma's greatest cuisine asset. 5 star atmosphere including architectural accents like a reflecting pool with Dale Chihuly glass and authentic silk curtains handmade by the owners chinese mother. For a large party grab the pagoda for a twosome there are too many options of seating all of which are great. Be forwarned: This food is rich and the portions are huge. Order less than you think you'll want and your meal will be affordable without leaving you stuffed. Some top picks: Best fresh spring rolls anywhere with tons of fresh cilantro. Chicken sesame wraps are an appetizer that can double as a meal too complicated to explain but trust me they are amazing. Panang Curry, classic. Ahi tuna ceviche (asian style-and huge, share this one if you can find someone else that adores raw fish). Crying tiger beef salad, just to name a few. Dessert is worth the trip alone but hard to handle after one of their meals...fresh crepes and amazing fresh made gelato in an array of exotic flavors but I never stray from the amazing chocolate. Some things can't be topped. Oh yeah, while your there, stop in my store two doors down. urbanXchange hip urban resale clothing 1934 pacific Ave. (www.hipsterswanted.com)
