Review content:
I'll admit we didn't get to review all of the amenities at the hotel - for example, the kids didn't want to go swimming in the pool because we wore them out ahead of time - but all in all, I'd say we enjoyed our stay. There's even a little fitness center on the second floor, just around the corner from the ice and elevators (Note: the front desk staff wasn't sure where it was located).
Rooms come with a refrigerator and microwave. We were worn out and feeling cheap, so we bought a few items at the local grocery store and brought them back to the room. It worked great - we warmed a few items and had a relaxing dinner without having the hassles of dinner with small children in a restaurant.
The morning's complementary breakfast had a good combination of healthy and not-so-healthy. Beware of the hot water for tea or instant oatmeal: it's really hot!
The one thing I wasn't particularly fond of was the small group of persons by the pool who were smoking. In some ways, I was glad when my kids didn't want to swim because I didn't want to be around the smoke. The hotel needs to designate a different area for folks who want to light up.
