Businiess name:  Cowboy's Seafood Restaurant On the Water Inc
Review by:  S C.
Review content:
This is an amazing find. It's a two-store house that just looks like an ordinary house with a parking lot. Inside, though, Cowboy's offers some of the area's best seafood. Despite it's name, it's not known for its beef. It is known for broiled and fried shrimp, scallops, flounder and more. They have great senior specials (not that I'm old enough to benefit from those, of course). My husband and I do sometimes enjoy the "dinner for two" specials. These are about $30 and include appetizer, entrées, sides and salads along with a terrific dessert. The shrimp is very good. It's lightly breaded, so you can actually taste the shrimp. I don't like the flounder, but I'm not too big on flounder, anyway. Everything is fresh and that's a big plus. Here, you'll find basic seafood, not a lot of new, innovative dishes. And the best part is the setting. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows so you can look out on beautiful views of the lake. In the right place, it looks as though you're almost actually dining on the water. The last time we ate there, we had the chance to view an absolutely amazing thunderstorm out over the water. On the weekends, go early or expect to wait.
