Words of wisdom... If you want to hire the Band, or DJ of your choice, do not go to a reception hall that requires your entertainment to carry their own "Liability Insurance". Only the "most expensive bands and dj's" can afford this. All reception halls can, and have for years. This is a scam to get you to hire only th...e bands on their "preferred list". There are almost always kickbacks involved. There are only two halls (that I know of) in the Hudson Valley trying to pull off this scheme. Ask first... Do you require the entertainment to carry their own liability insurance. If the answer is yes, then you are dealing with unscrupulous businessmen.
