I went here for back pain and thought the staff were very rude, condesending, and the nurses especially not friendly nor helpful in the least. They could have cared less that you were in pain at all. His office visits were too short to get anything productive done, and Dr. Hong hardly lets you speak at all. You have little time to really develop a real plan to treat you pain---he just flies by the seat of his pants so to speak. They did not help my pain and Doctor Hong only really talked about a Spinal Cord stimulator but could not tell me any risks or benefits about it, but kept pushing the surgery on me. I thought he might have been getting some kind of kick-back myself. When my pain didn't improve I tried to go to another Doctor and take my records with me-they would not let me have them without a $30 charge which I thought was totally unreasonable. They offered to fax to another Doctor but when they did they failed to fax all the records, only the last office visit. They make you pay the full $30 to get the full records. Doctor Hong seems to be just out to make money in my opinion. He seems to be doing quite well too since he has 2 offices and advertises like crazy on the internet. It is so hard to find a decent pain doctor in this state. Good luck if you choose to go to this doctor, you WILL need it!
