Review content:
The city of Cedar Falls built a new pool just off from Main Street by the the Lutheran Church. WOW WOW WOW!
We had such a great time. It opens at Noon and you can stay until 8:45! Kids are only $3 and adults are $4. Season passes are available, but I am not sure on those prices.
There is a great smaller kids area that was perfect with a few new things in that area. A floating snake was the big hit and was always being played on. For a little bigger kids, there was a lazy river, 2 great slides, a "normal" swimming area, but it was zero depth entry and had a floating hippo and alligator that was the hit of this pool. It amazed me how the teenagers were all playing on these! In this same pool is two diving boards, basketball, lap lanes and a great slide that drops you in to the area by the boards.
The staff was great and kept everyone in line! Tubes were plentiful even on a busy day! There were plenty of chairs and shade as needed.
The concessions had pizza, nachos, candy, dippin dots, Hawaiian ice (a big cup for $1) and drinks. I did see many people bring in snacks and have them on their towels and I would also think that you could have a cooler in your car if you would wish. I think the rule is you can go to your car, but if you leave the parking lot, you have to pay again.
We had free tickets for 2 to go to Lost Island...which is great also, but we decided to try this for $14 for the whole family versus having to spend another $40 to get the other two into the water park. Very much worth it...we sold our water park tickets and are going back to the FALLS!
