Businiess name:  Arabia Steamboat Museum
Review by:  A J.
Review content:
The Arabia Steamboat was one of 400 steamboats that sank due to the rough conditions on the Missouri River back in the 1800s and was rediscovered in 1988 --- with it's 222 tons of cargo intact! Here at the museum, you will view everything from china, glassware, tools, clothing and boots - even perfume and a childs doll! Amazingly, they also have the giant 28-foot paddlewheel on display turning in a pool of water. I first visited the Arabia Steamboat museum, located in Kansas City's River Market area, with my Mom, Grandpa, and 2-year-old daughter in 1992. Through the years, some of my children have also had the opportunity to visit while on elementary school field trips! It's definitely a fun place for all ages! Discount tickets can often be found in the Entertainment Book. For more information, check out this http://www.1856.com/ ! :)
