went to dinner w/friends for a birthday dinner. we called ahead for reservations and left a msg on the answering maching, and no one ever called back to confirm. this should have been a sign. called back again, twice, the next day and finally someone answered and rudely said "no one called back because we don't tale reservations. first come, first serve. " We went anyway b/c it is the place the birthday girl wanted to go. PARKING IS HORRIBLE!!! after the 2 1/2 hour wait and rude bartender service, we finally got a table. the music from the band was so incredibly loud you couldn't talk/hear to the person next to you. it would have been fabulous entertainment, if not so loud! when the food arrived , it was cold and one person in the party had to wait 30 minutes until her SANDWICH arrived. the catfish sandwich had a pickle on it...dry and that is it! needless to say, this restaurant has gone way downhill from the way it used to be and I would not recommend it to anyone!
Pros: off the beaten path
Cons: long wait; horrible food; rude staff; extremely loud
