Review content:
This place doesn't necassarily have bad food - they just have terrible chinese food. Considering this is a chinese restaurant, that is a bad thing. Their menu bosts traditional chinese "take out" cuisine, but the final product is anything but chinese. One would think that Chicken with Cashews would be pretty straight forward....well not at the Fortune Cookie. It is a melange of Chinese-American take out - with pretty heavy American influences. What results is not bad food, prepared in a really bizaare way. Overall though, when you are hankering for chinese, this place certainly doesn't cut it. The best I can say is their entres don't taste bad, but they really aren't good either. Compared to the Jade Garden in Eau Claire, these two will duke it out for worst Asian (or whatever they are shooting for) cuisine in the area. Do yourself a favor and walk next door to Subway, you will be happier with their food.
