Perhaps I shouldn't base my review on one very, very bad experience but I simply can't give a good review of this place with a good conscience.
While they offer typical food that you expect of the Perkins chain, they seem to lack in the cleanliness territory.
I was actually served a soda with a fly frozen in my ice cube. When it was brought to the attention of my waitress not only was I basically brushed off as if, oh well those things happen but I was never even contacted by a manager. When I inquired where the manager was, they simply said he wasn't there right now. We quickly scooped up our stuff to just get out, how could I justify eating here at this point? As we attempted to walk out, without paying because I was truly ready to throw up the actually yelled at me that I still had to pay!!!!
First off we hadn't eaten the stuff they brought out. Second, even if we had there should never have even been a charge considering what I found in my ice! No apologies, no comments, nothing. I sent my daughter back in with the money as I lost my cookies in their bushes.
Let's just say this was the last time we ever appeared in this facility again.
As I have since visited other locations, mainly the one on west eighth street, I can assure you that not only would I never go to the Peach Street Perkins again but I tell anyone who thinks about it what my horrible experience was here!
