Review content:
Erie, PA is simply lucky to have The Shriners Hospital available to us. Doctors from all over the world come here to learn new techniques and envision new miracles for children. While some of the biggest cities in the country may have some great hospitals, none can compare to the care a child receives at Shriners.
Every child treated at Shriners is treated free of charge. They specialize in orthopedics but are not limited in any way to just that area. I've seen children walk out of there, with completely new attitudes and views on life. Treatment of scoliosis is one of the many common illnesses they can handle and have been God sends to many for their care.
The most amazing part of this hospital, second to all treatments being free of charge to the patient, is that now the vast majority of patients are treated same day or in a 24 hours period and return home. While not all kids go in and out that quickly, there are more that fall in this category then those who don't.
Truly a facility dedicated to making the life of children better, they achieve their goal with complete simplicity. The staff, doctors and nurses are truly one of a kind, caring individuals and deserve the highest respect.
Hopefully you will never know a child in need, but if you ever do, you will be thankful that Erie has The Shriners Hospital.
