As I wrote a favorable post about Big Lots in the past, it has changed drastically and been downgraded to about a 2 out of 10! It is a little sad for this business to have changed so much. I am only speaking of this Big Lots on Fashion Place, though, not any of their other stores. I have gone into this store maybe 5 to 6 times in the past month, and after receiving TERRIBLE service and some other issues, I have decided that it is not a strange coincidence that the store has gone downhill, and not just a bad day each time, it really is just Yuck.....I have stood in line, and the only person in line, and waited for 10 minutes while Marty and another lady "did their own little thing" in front of me, and totally ignored me! I tried to talk to them and ask them for help even! Then asked later, did you need something, Duh, rung up maybe????? Instead of asking one of their employees to go back and get an item to replace a damaged one I had picked up, they asked me to go get it, and at that time again, all of their employees were available to do their jobs, and to assist me, however, I was asked to do their job! Their bathrooms are the most disguisting and dirty ones that I have ever seen! No toilet paper, paper towels, soap, toilet covers, and just plain filth. Their isles were piled with merchandise and scattered about and very disorganized. This place has changed so much, I couldn't believe it! I am going to go back and give them one of my Business Cards, as I did not have them with me my last visit, and I hope that they read this and get a REALITY CHECK! You need to change a whole lot about you store!
