Carpet Express is located in the heart of the Dalton, GA carpet industry. Outlet stores here have the advantage of buying remnants, seconds and discontinued carpets direct from the manufacturers. The prices are greatly reduced and you can save a lot of money shopping here.
Carpet Express carries carpet, padding and hardwood flooring. They have two showrooms connected by a warehouse. A salesperson will greet you at the door and help you get started on your search for flooring. If you're not sure what you want, they will offer helpful suggestions and invite you to browse through the many samples that they have in the showrooms. If you have a good idea of what you want, they will take you out into the warehouse to see if they might have something in stock to suit your needs. Because they buy discontinued rolls, seconds and the like from the manufacturers, their stock is always changing. If you have the time and don't see exactly what you want when you're there, ask your sales person to call you when they see something along the lines of what you're looking for. They are eager to help. If you don't live in the area, they ship nationwide, so you don't have to worry about arranging transportation yourself.
The showrooms are not fancy, but they are clean and easy to browse through. The warehouse is a working warehouse and if you have kids with you, be sure to keep an eye on them, as hysters are always on the move.
