Yes, reservations can be difficult. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, the food is delicious. Start off with a caesar to share with your partner or the lump crabmeat crabcake appetizer. It will take a lot to pull you away from the parmesan popover that arrives at the table. Move on to either the filet (requesting "chef's preference" brings you a thoroughly pink filet with so much juice, you will use your napkin throughout) or the Kobe filet - both portions may be split if you aren't feeling ravenous...these cuts are LARGE. I enjoyed both the bernaise and 3 pepper sauces for the meat. Grilled asparagus, parmesan gnocchi or any kind of potato are great sides to split. One can eat well (with a glass or two of wine) for about $85 per person. Don't be afraid to share a starter, a main or a dessert as having a full three course meal with make you loosen your zipper.
