Businiess name:  La Caridad Restaurant

Review content:
The unusual phenomenon of Chino-Latino joints in the Upper West Side is an interesting one, and this particular spot has been a mainstay for a long time, with the lines of loyal fans to prove it. The food is serviceable and served in generous portions, while the prices are very low. If you're not picky, you might even say it's good. But if you are, you will argue with me on that point. It all depends on what you order, and my advice is to keep it simple. I, for one, happen to enjoy their soupy rice stew with shrimp, which is simple, well made, and likes a shot of lemon juice. But when getting a little ambitious with the menu, like trying for most of the Chinese dishes on the menu, one would be disappointed. It's safe to assume one should align themselves with the origins behind the name of the place, and order up the Spanish dishes instead. The arroz con pollo is good stuff, as are the chorizos. But repeat after me: "Keep it simple and keep it Spanish" and you'll be a-okay at La Caridad.
