Review content:
After checking out the details on an item of furniture with a sales person I called back later in the afternoon to confirm my desire to buy the furniture item. I had been told by this person she would call me back in an hour to take my order over the phone and save me $20 on the delivery price that I would have paid on-line. She returns my call under a telephone number that is not the store number. She tells me she is calling me on her cell phone. As we are talking she has a man's voice in the back ground talking to her as she talks to me. I ended the conversation as soon as I learn she is on her personal phone. I of course, never gave her any of my credit card information. I did call their customer service dept. to tell them about the situation. A business that takes sales orders over the phone does not do so using a cell phone. For all I knew this person lost her job left the store and called me on her cell phone to acquire my credit card information, what am I to think? I'll tell you what I think. With all the people looking for work why does Havertys Furniture keep someone as stupid as that employed?
