Review content:
I brought my boyfriend to Notti Bianche for his birthday. I'd never been there before and I don't plan on going back again. The food was fine, but the rest of our experience was terrible. We were never given bread. We were told some menu items weren't available when afterwards, the table next to us were able to order those items just fine. Our food actually arrived after the food of surrounding tables with patrons who came in after us. We didn't even bother ordering dessert since it was taking so long to get the waiter's attention again. Happening upon my recount of this experience in my blog, the manager extended an invitation to make up for things, which I was unable to accept. He then responded, wishing me luck on finals. I guess he assumed I was a student because of how badly I was treated there and their proximity to GW? My boyfriend and I do look pretty young, but we're not students and even if we were, I don't think that's a good excuse for sub-par treatment. I was impressed though with the manager's dedication to his restaurant and his invitation. I'll give it an ok instead of a poor for the manager's effort and because the food was good despite it all.
