Review content:
Another fine establishment, Primi Piatti, used to occupy this restaurant space, and I was sad when it closed. However, its successor does not disappoint. Colvin Run Tavern is an terrific choice for a special evening or for a business dinner, but not appropriate for kids. The food is superb, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the servers are attentive and knowledgable, which is as it should be in a pricey restaurant. Each room in the restaurant has a different decor, which is fun. The bar area is nice for an after-work drink and is quiet enough that you can actually have a conversation. The food is electic, but tends toward "new American." Overall, you can have a very enjoyable evening here.
