Review content:
I'll tell my story and you can judge for yourselves. We took our Ford Explorer into Rio Valley Ford for some work after some trouble shifting gears. They kept the car for ten days, finally diagnosing it with the need for a whole new transmission at the cost of $4000. We decided to shop around at transmission shops for a better price. The day we picked the car up, they kept us waiting for over an hour while they searched for our keys. They were never found. We drove off using our spare key and never did get a call about the ones they lost. In the meantime, I made some calls and took our car in to a transmission shop after getting a quote of $1500. The day I took the car in, the new shop called and said we didn't need a new tranny, just simple maintenance would suffice. $45 and 1 day later we were set. It has been 18 months since then and the car continues to run perfectly.
