Businiess name:  Island Drug

Review content:
I'm glad the other reviewers like Island Drug but I am very surpised at all the great reviews. This pharmacy is awful. Its probably a good place to buy fudge and beanie babies but as for getting prescriptions filled correctly and on time, forget it! I have yet to go in there and pick up my prescription without some type of issue. Either they overcharge me or they forgot to fill it or they don't even have it in stock or they are too busy yapping amongst themselves to ring me up, the list goes on. What should take about 5 minutes has often taken 30. The automated system gives pick up times for when the store is closed, so if you must use them, talk to a human being instead and pray that your pills are actually ready when they say they will be. I do everything I can to support local businesses but even people like me who hate Walmart have their limits. Island Drug is really going to have to get it together if they want to compete with the chain stores in town.
