Books of Wonder if one of the biggest and most well known independent childrens' bookstores in New York offers new books for children ages infants to teens, as well as older and rare titles so you can show them what YOU used to read when you were their age.
Books of Wonder also helps show kids the wonder behind the words with special events with authors and artists, as well as a weekly story time Sundays at noon.
And what's better than reading with your kids? Reading with your kids and cupcakes! Books of Wonder is right next door to The Cupcake Cafe which specializes in amazing frosting flower decorations that fill me with awe - and I'm a grown up.
