I hate grocery shopping. This is a decent, well stocked store with friendly, helpful service and it's well laid out. I don't like to spend too much time trying to find what I'm looking for, so the best thing about Safeway for me is that it's logically laid out. They do have good sales and if you're a Safeway Club member, you'll get a 6c per gallon discount on Safeway gas, every time you spend $50 in groceries. (Easy for me with a family of 5.)
