Review content:
Bringing the arts to our rural community is no small task, but the Elk County Council on the Arts does a great job of it. They help sponsor many performances, from plays to music to art showings. The little gallery is fun to visit to see what local artists are up to. At Christmas time, they have a group of some sort performing there during the downtown's Christmas open house night, and it's a treat to listen to while you browse. The arts council also offers several different kinds of classes, from painting to stained glass to literary classes. There's something for everyone of every age. Take advantage of a local gem and get involved with the arts council!
