Review content:
I'll be the first to admit that I was very skeptical of Value City Furniture. I mean, how good could furniture be that was this cheap?
I was right... and wrong. While some of the items truly are not worth what they sell for and really will not last you for any length of time, other items are well worth it. If you are willing to comparison shop and truly check the items you are purchasing it can be a bargain hunters dream come true!
Many times they have very well known brand name furniture for very reasonable pricing. Other times they can truly con you into believing you're getting a deal for a really great price but if you delve deeper you realize you're paying less and getting less.
My best advice is that while they often sell furniture for less, you have to take the time to figure out if it's truly cheap, inexpensive or cheap, poor quality! It's worth the time and effort because I can vouch that many items are built to last. I had a kitchen table set that truly lasted for over 15 years and in the end I simply got rid of it because I just got tired of it!!! I paid a fraction of what others were asking for and yet it lasted longer than some peoples kitchen sets that were falling apart after 5 years and they paid high prices at the local 'big name' furniture stores! And put it all into perspective... if you only pay $200 for a sofa you know you will probably replace it in a few years. You might get lucky and not have to also! Or you might be the type that tires of it after that long so it's a great deal!!!
Just use your head... shop smart.. and I'm sure you can find some great deals at Value City Furniture!
