The only reason I even consider shopping there is because they carry one thing that I cannot find anything else. I'd much rather go the extra mile (no pun intended) to the brand new SuperTarget a little further north on Quebec. Why is this store awful? Here's just a few reasons: 1. The people that work there are the most unhelpful and unfriendly that I have ever met. TriShawna was too busy talking to her baby's daddy on her cell phone and could not answer my question about curtain lengths (they don't carry anything but 84 inch lengths). No one will ever say "how are you?", they won't look at you and acknowledge your presence, and they don't know ANYTHING about the items that they sell. I was looking to buy a new iPod (but typically they were out of stock) and they had a customer return in the case. I asked about the price and the girl didn't know. THEN she went on to ask me about which iPod SHE should get!! Excuse me Maria Consuela Deanna Yasmin Hernandez-Cordoza, you are supposed to be the one with the answers for MY questions. 2. There is always a line at the checkout into the aisles. They seriously have only 4 or 5 registers open EVERY time that I am there. The so-called "express lane" takes 20 minutes to get through! Another reason I love Target is because EVERYONE that works there is trained on the registers (I used to work for Target) so if they need backup, people on the sales floor will come help. 3. The store is always a mess. The clothing departments always look like a tornado went through them, especially the little girls. The produce section seems to always have almost- dead produce, and the garden center is not navigable by any means. 4. Their flowers die in 1 day. I bought roses at 10 am and they were wilted by 4 pm. They offer a 3 day guarantee (or something like that) on flowers, but they wouldn't give me my money back because the woman at returns thought that I had poisoned them somehow (another one of those intelligent wal mart employees) So, I'll pay a little more to shop at Target, where the people are friendly, there is never a line (even when the parking lot is full), the store is quiet (no screaming children and their parents yelling on cell phones), and it's wonderfully clean.
