Lopez Bakery 1100 W Mitchell Street Milwaukee WI 53204 414-672-1830 What a wonderful bakery! This 5th generation Mexican bakery has an awesome selection of yummies for you! The pastries are bright and colorful and huge! And it is super cheap. Unfortunately, I can't tell you a single thing that I ever buy. Usually, I just point to whatever looks good that day - not knowing what it is or what it is made of. It's bakery, right? It's gonna be good! And it always is. They make a wide variety of breads, rolls, and sweets - which are no where as sweet as the American versions - but just as good. The Mitchell Street location serves breakfast, lunches and an early dinner. Other locations are 6th and National 16th and Lincoln and in Racine At most locations, speaking Spanish helps - but not necessary. I do just fine pointing and smiling!
