Businiess name:  Papa John's Pizza
Review by:  Cindy L.
Review content:
Denver has a growing list of smaller, family-owned, homegrown pizza joints. I would prefer pizza from any one of them to Papa John's. Papa John's does have the garlic sauce thing going, but really good pizza crust does not need any dipping. The crust of the typical Papa John's pizza is doughy and soft, and doesn't have that satisfying chewy consistency that good bread or good pizza crust has. Papa John's sauce is a little spicier than Pizza Hut's. Their toppings are good, and generously applied, but not special or exotic. They do deliver quickly, so if time is at a premium and you do not want to travel to a more authentic pizza restaurant, by all means call Papa John's.
