Review content:
Whenever we're in the Brentwood area, the Viking Kitchen store is a must stop. Unfortunately we can't afford to buy the whole store, or even a part of the store, but we would if we could.
If you love cooking and gourmet food, you will love to browse too. The store carries professional grade cookware, both All-Clad and their own name brand. They also have every kitchen gadget and tool you could imagine and more, specialty items for ethnic cuisine, cookbooks, and small appliances of all kinds. Unfortunately the prices are quite high, but then they only carry the VERY best. It's a bit crowded inside, but well organized.
We registered at the Viking store for our wedding, and though unfortunately we didn't get much from that registry it was still worth it. We got a $50 gift card just for registering, which we later used along with some money from generous friends to buy a set of Viking pots and pans that will last our lifetime. Even if you're not a professional cook, if you care about true quality and excellence you will appreciate the Viking products. It's easy to cook well if you have the proper tools.
The Viking store employees have always been very friendly and smiling, knowledgable and willing to help.
They also offer cooking classes and seminars at the store, which we would like to take although we have never been able to.
When we have saved enough, we're going back to expand our set of cookware. Very highly recommended.
