Review content:
The reasons I like Steak n' Shake are because a) they are open 24 hours (so it's nice for the after bar crowd) and b) I really like their shoe string french fries. I just have a couple of problems with them though. First of all, no matter what store you go to and no matter what time of year it is, it is always FREEZING cold in there! Their food is also a little too greasy for my liking and the menu is a little over priced. It can only be considered an upscale fast food restaurant. The service is usually slow and unenthusiastic and their menu is similar to any other fast food restaurant that you can find. All in all, it's great if you want a burger after the bars, but otherwise I would steer clear.
