If you think "The Coffee Cup's" soulfood is good, you have to try "Down to the Bone"! As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the owner gave us a warm welcome and my daughter said the people were very nice. Although, there was a limited selection for lunch, the food we ordered was DELICIOUS. You will definately eat your food down to the bone. My 7 yr old son who loves fast-food said it was much better than McD and Chick-fil-A any day. The food was very tasty without being greasy or over seasoned. This is surely our new eating spot. We also liked the Motown music playing during our meal. We need more soul food places around Charlotte like this one.
