Businiess name:  Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home
Review by:  Shannon W.
Review content:
This tastefully decorated funeral home has been around for a number of years & is right in the heart of town. It is a very small building and that's probably the only downside. There is room for only 1 or 2 funerals to be held, and even at that it's crowded. With that said, the funeral home is a nice place however. The attendants are extremely friendly & helpful in making arrangements and seeing that everything is taken care of without any problems. The main funeral service room is large and has many long wooden benches and additional seating at the back which they add as needed. The casket is placed behind the speaker podium. Also, there is a family room right off to the side of the podium and casket so that the family has full view of the casket and speaker. There is room in this family room for about 40-50 people. We had my grandmother's funeral here and it was carried on with dignity and respect and there were no problems, so I can vouch for this place as sensitive caring people. Fees were probably about standard for the business, nothing unusual. Also, there is a kitchen in the back where family can gather and eat food brought in by friends. They have a hearse and family car provided. Parking for others is provided in a very small lot but there's also additional parking across the street on both sides. So all in all this is a great place.
