I love Merita Bakery. Many people say they only carry old stuff, but that is NOT true. They cannot sell items after expiration dates. They carry items that are substantially reduced in price. Some of the expiration dates are short, but not all of them. For instance, I bought a single honey bun that costs me 89 cents at another store. It cost me 50 cents here. The expiration date is at least a month away, too. You can get an entire shopping cart here full of stuff for mere pennies (grin). I recommend this place at four stars.
